This isn't a how-to. I'm not a pinterest mom. I'm a firm believer in faking it 'til you make it. This is for all the millennials out there who secretly have no idea what they're doing. I'm looking at you, millennial caregivers.

Happy 5774!

It's Rosh Hashanah which means it's now the year 5774! I'm starting to think that maybe it wasn't the year 2013 that was cursed for our family, but maybe it was actually the year 5773. This "new year" is going pretty wonderfully so far.

My mom is getting the keys to her new apartment on Saturday! I think the apartment will be a great fit for her - it's much larger and nicer than her current place. The location isn't as pretty, but you gotta give and take. Most importantly, she is really, really excited to be in a new place. It feels good to see her so happy. We are heading down to her place this weekend to help her move in. The staff at the building seems really friendly, competent and nice. Hopefully we can make this her home for awhile.

I've taken over all except one of her bills at this point. She seems to really appreciate the fact that she can now just focus on her health and I can take the responsibilities of everyday life off her hands. Now that everything is on auto-bill, it's really not difficult for me. We can start building her credit back up and I won't have to worry about if her bills are paid or not.

We're also 7 weeks into our wait for our probe to be created which means we are halfway there! Yay!

Happy 5774 to all and to all a good night!
