This isn't a how-to. I'm not a pinterest mom. I'm a firm believer in faking it 'til you make it. This is for all the millennials out there who secretly have no idea what they're doing. I'm looking at you, millennial caregivers.

Is This Year Over Yet?

Crazy things keep happening but it's almost comical at this point. The other day our dog walker left a bag of shit on our kitchen counter. Nice little icing on the cake. Of course it was an honest mistake and I'm not mad about it. We just thought that it was ridiculous that the last couple of days have been filled with some unpleasant surprises and instead of coming home to a nice, calm home, we walk into to a dog shit scented one. The things that we are going through are horrible and crazy and scary, BUT we've gotten through all of the challenges so far. I believe we can get through anything.

Further, I truly believe that 2013 is a doomed, terrible, transitional year. No joke. It's awful. We just have to get through all of the terribleness that this year has brought us. I hope that 2014 brings us some calmness from living in our new house. I hope that it brings us a baby. I hope that some of our family's health problems can be tackled.

So, 7 months down. 5 to go.
